It has been three years since Queen Anyla, the Hero of Brightwall, and her friends defeated the Crawler, in which time Albion has entered a time of prosperity and wealth.
Albionites now look to their past to regain lost land and lore. Rumors abound on the recent Crown-funded excursions into Wraithmarsh and other dark corners of the countryside. Monsters said to be extinct, crazed cultists worshiping ancient gods, and vicious criminals prowl about, preying on intrepid explorers and adventurers and fighting amongst themselves. It is up to the good citizens of Albion and the New Heroes Guild to keep order, but are they fighting a losing battle? Choose your side, choose your fate...

Bowerstone Industrial (1 sub-board) Although the queen has put in place new sanitary and health laws, this part of the city is still known for its soot-covered buildings and smoke plumes rising out of factory chimneys.

Bowerstone Castle (1 sub-board) The original castle was built by the Fairfax family on the long dormant ashes of Grey Manor. Once the Whitestone family took over and expanded the queendom, the castle engulfed nearby noble's properties to become somewhat of a small fortress.
Bowerstone Market In the center lies the iconic clock-tower where the old queen met her first husband, Alexander. It is divided by the river where it is said the Lost Gargoyle Treasure lies.
Bower Lake/Millfields (3 sub-boards) It has expanded on what was once called Market Road since the old queen's time. Now the region is much closer to Bowerstone, and is now considered part of the greater Bowerstone area.
Old Town (1 sub-board) Rebuilt after the queen's rise to power, it is being renovated to look more like it did in the late king's day as a tourist attraction. In the center is a golden statue of the Hero of Bowerstone with his faithful mutt, Rufus McGee, tearing into a hobbe.
Oakfield (2 sub-boards) A sleepy farming community where the Golden Oak that the old queen helped plant is still standing proud and fueling the hamlet's economy. The Sandgoose Tavern is an historic attraction.

Rookridge Dreary, gray cliffs over-looking the coast. The ancient cathedral that once housed the Temple of Shadows is a popular place for balverines. Traveling traders call this place "Death's Bluffs".
Westcliff (1 sub-board) Despite the old queen's best efforts to make this port-town family friendly, it has sunk back into a haven for criminals, pirates, and ruffians wishing to enter the Crucible.
Southcliff The Hero of Southcliff's home town. Comparable to Bowerstone 50 years ago, this secluded town still reveres the Light and Shadows. Some say the old gods, Avo and Skorm, have returned and are gathering followers amongst Southcliff. Other say that its rubbish.

Central Albion
The Woodlands (3 sub-boards) Including Deepwod, Greatwood, and Silverpines, this massive stretch of land is mostly uncharted. It is now collectively called the Woodlands, since the separation between the four forests has blurred. The Woodlands bleeds into the west somewhat, between Wraithmarsh and Bowertsone. The creatures within are said to be ancient and powerful.

Brightwood (2 sub-boards) It is said the by the will of benevolent spirits this forest remains untainted by balverines and hobbes. That, or perhaps some ancient, powerful magic. Within one can find the Brightwood Tower and the Old Guardsman's Farm
Mourningwood (1 sub-board) A foul-smelling bog where the dead rise every single night to try to reclaim their home. Within is Swift's Fort, Re-named after the brave Major Swift, who led many battles against Hollow Men only to become a martyr during the rebellion. There is also an Eco-Warrior Settlement. Tourists often come to both during the day, but the undead still rise every night, forcing soldiers to hole up in the newly reinforced bunkers just before sundown. Walking outside afterward is considered suicide.

Eastern Albion
Mistpeak Mountains (2 sub-boards) Foreboding mountains that contain the famed Mount Ruon, where the Archon William Black was said to have defeated the Court of Blades. Here the Dwellers make their home. In the valley, as well as a bustling trade center once run by bandits. Brightwall and an intricate system of caverns are also located near by.
Brightwall (2 sub-boards) A lovely little town built inside what used to be a military stronghold. Albion's premier academy is located here, as well as the queen's vacation home (heavily guarded of course).
Bloodstone This is a lawless town, full of thugs, whores, drunken revelries... and a port. It is surrounded by Wraithmarsh on three sides, and an ocean on the other. Thus, one must be of great power, skill, and intelligence to get here (or leave here) in one piece.

Wraithmarsh (1 sub-board) After a recent discovery in the Old Heroes' Guild, the queen hired on several of her best soldiers to clear and drain a small area near the ancient town's ruins. The process to purify it of its curse as well as to drain it is underway, but every dangerous. Heroes are often hired to protect the soldiers and workers who endeavor to reclaim what is now called the Oakvale Outpost

Darkwood Land that is a miserable melding of forest and marsh, this area is ruled by warring bands of thieves, assassins, and otherwise unsavory peoples. It lies somewhere between Wraithmarsh and Bowerstone, near Bloodstone.

Patrie The capitol of this industrial-era nation is La Ville De L'amour, the City of Love. Grand architectural projects and an explosion of artistic creation mark Patrisians as some of the most cultured people in the world. And don't they know it! Fancy cafes and drawing rooms dot the the streets as ladies of high-fashion bustle about.

Knothole Island (1 sub-board) Almost exactly as it was 50 years ago, but the weather's mellowed out a bit. Beware the balverines!
Hook Coast A fishing-port town located just off north of Bowerstone. Everyone here has blond hair, blue eyes, and is very short. How odd. There's not much around here beyond the town and a half-mile thicket of evergreen trees.

The Northern Wastes (2 sub-boards) Difficult to get to, difficult to leave. The townspeople of Snowspire are mistrusting and stuck to old traditions. Oh, and its rather cold.

Pariah Isles (3 sub-boards) This trio of islands is nick-named as such because of their owners (or former owners in the case of the Godwin Estate). One can find the Ravenscar Prison for the Criminally Insane on one island, the abandoned Godwin Estate on another, and the famed Clockwork Island, a favorite tourist attraction of the queen.

Samarkand This is a feral, unforgiving land with both thick jungles, vast deserts and plains, and massive mountain ranges. The people live in tribes, the larger of which have chiefs which answer to the king of Samarkand, Biluba, rumored to be a Hero himself. Katanas and gun powder hail from this region.
South Isles The great Hero of strength, Thunder, and his sister, Whisper, were said to have originated from this archipelago. Exotic, tropical spices and intricate dances is what this place is known for.
